Studio Closing – August 1st
It is with a heavy heart that I announce Cinnamon's DanceWorks Dance Instruction will be closing its doors on August 1st.
The business below us—who we once supported by bringing our students there—has complained to the landlord about noise from our kids dance classes. regardless that we have been a staple for the community for the last 10 years, and they have been here just 1 year, the landlord has decided to terminate us. which was a total surprise to us all. Despite all our efforts to gets the kids not to run and jump, some days you can't catch everything. We are a dance studio and kids will be kids.
This isn't just the loss of a studio.
I'm losing my business.
I'm losing my home.
It's losing the studio that 8 other small businesses call home.
I’ve poured my heart into this space—teaching, healing, and connecting with thousands through dance, whether through lessons or dance therapy. Cinnamon DanceWorks has been a safe haven for many, a starting point for countless dancers, and a place of transformation.
